In the summer of 2004 a single from the upcoming full - length album will be released. In addition to the two original songs the single will be equipped by a couple of remixes. The title song of the single - "To The Sound of the Hare" - is our arrangement of an old Ladino song. This is the track we're offering for a remix.
Our arrangement contains solo female vocals and duduk, accompanied by quite a massive band (drums, precussion, bass, acoustic guitar and electric guitar).

  • Click here to download the agreement between the band and the remix artist!

  • If you want to participate in this project and offer your remix, please contact us, and we will send you all the information and files needed on a CDR.

The single will be released independently and will serve for promotion mainly. Each (remix) artist will get a full credit on the single. We cannot offer revenue for the remix artists since the whole project is more promotional than commercial and we're not even sure it will cover the studio expencies. The only thing you get is exposure - the single will reach labels and radio stations all over the world and your work might get some attention.

    Additional (technical) notes:

    1. SHOOM keeps the right to choose whatever remixes they would like. It's important to point out that stylistically we're not looking for something particular. We do listen to all types of music and anything that sounds good will definitely find its' way to the single. We're also not afraid of the experiment, so grindcore or noise or gabber remix will surely do.
    2. The song is recorded in constant time signature (120) and the material for the remix is avaliable as a Cubase SX project. There are no midi tracks, just a multitrack audio in 24 bit wav format.
    3. Copyright of each song will be owned by both SHOOM and the remixing artist (of the particular composition). Every additional publication of the song (except for the above mentioned single) will require both sides' approoval. The original songs' copyright will be owned by SHOOM only.
