Ofnaus

Group exhibition and performance at Teena gallery, organized by meatex Z, 2004

The exhibition was dedicated to Fashion ("Ofna" is "fashion" in Hebrew) and featured an opening performance where artisits arranged a "fashion show" with models dressing up right in the exhibition space. Every artist also presented a graphic work (painting/drawing/photo) related to the same "fashion" statement he was trying to make.

My works included eight color pencil drawings called "collection 2004" and three acrylic paintings named "Help the aged".

The pictures capture the performance. Here you see the first costume, called "Love the Alien", made by meatex Z, in the process of "dressing up". The performance was accompanied by live improvisation music.

At the end all the models were undressed and the costumes were arranged into one big pile in the middle of the exhibition space.
