meatex Z was established in 1999. The group deals with numerous activities. Its' members see contemporary art as a multimedia, uniting several forms of expression, such as painting, graphics, music, performance, design and web art.

Meatex Z's approach says that the main purpose of every art is entertainment. It places the art in the "pop" field, but instead of dealing with "popular" matters, as the original Pop art did, group members take conceptual art and put it into "pop" envelope.

The group arranged a couple of exhibitions and performances in Jerusalem which scored some friendly reviews here and there. For more information on meatex Z's activities please check out the links on the right.
