Ish-Fish drawings
Pilot pens, indian ink and calligraphy color ink on paper, A5 format, July-August 2008.
A part of the never-ending Ish-Fish series. For those of you who don't speak Hebrew: "ish" means "man" and "fish"... hope you already know.
I was told once that works on paper are hard to sell and canvases look more posh, so even if I draw something - I usually do it on canvas. Not to mention that canvases are much stronger and may take lots of abuse.
Unfortunately, I received a block of paper for my birthday, and it immediately seduced me. I will probably use one of the black and white drawings to create graphics for a T-shirt (one-color silkscreen print).
Standed fishes
A series of b/w drawings, November-December 2008. Pens on paper, A5 format.

Fishes, fishes, fishes... too many fishes. These are plain drawings, no secret technique used.

A series of 22 drawings, with the letters of Hebrew ABC.
Mixed technique on vintage telephone book cards, 18X18cm each card.
Partly presented in 2003 at Teena gallery, Jerusalem.
Portraits
A series of drawings, December 2007.

25X25cm each.
Diary 2001
A series of 26 black and white pictures, 17X26 cm each, stabilo pens on yellow card paper.
Drawn during the year 2001, this series is sort of a "diary", combining text with illustrations. Each "page" refers to certain events in the real life - or illustrates some thoughts, caught at the moment of the picture's creation. The series was presented in 2003 at Teena gallery, Jerusalem.
