Jolana Typhoon II

Jolana Typhoon and Typhoon II came out in 1964. Jolana started making basses in the beginning of the 60's. The first Jolana bass models were Basso IV and it's sixstring version Pedro. Typhoon was basically the same instrument with some upgrades. The body has a deeper cutout for easier upper fret access, the controls were changed from volume, tone and rotating switch to sort of the mid' 60 Jolana scheme with individual on/off switches for each pickup and a master volume - see 1963 Futurama III with similar arrangement.

This is an export version of the bass, the non-export version of Typhoon is called Tajfun which is the same thing in Czech.
