The group, established in 1999, deals with numerous activities. Its' members see contemporary art as a multimedia, uniting different forms of expression, s.a. graphics, music, performance, design and conceptual art.

Meatex Z's approach says that the main purpose of every art is entertainment. It places the art in the "pop" field, but instead of dealing with "popular" matters, as the original Pop Art did, we take conceptual art and put it into "pop" envelope.
